How to Delete Your FN Pulse Account

Close Your Account Securely in a Few Steps
Need to leave FN Pulse? Follow this guide to request account deletion, understand what happens to your data, and confirm the process completes smoothly.
Before You Delete
- Export saved data (watchlists, tool presets, chat history) if you want a copy.
- Resolve open support tickets—deletion pauses ongoing investigations.
- Remember: Deleting your account cancels newsletters and removes community posts.
Initiating the Deletion Request
- Sign in and navigate to Profile → Privacy.
- Scroll to Data Rights and click "Request Account Deletion".
- Choose a reason (optional) to help us improve.
- Confirm your password and click Submit Request.
- Check your email for a confirmation link—must be clicked within 24 hours.
What Happens Next
- Account enters a 14-day grace period. You can cancel deletion anytime from the banner on login.
- We immediately log you out of all devices.
- Market preferences, saved brokers, and chat history are queued for permanent removal.
Data Retention Exceptions
- Compliance data (e.g., broker review evidence) may be retained for up to 5 years where legally required.
- Aggregated analytics remain but are fully anonymized.
Canceling the Deletion
- Log back in within the 14-day window and click "Keep My Account" on the banner.
- All data is restored instantly; no need to reconfigure preferences.
QA Checklist
- Request button visible under Profile → Privacy → Data Rights.
- Confirmation email arrives within 5 minutes and link works.
- Grace-period banner appears on login after submitting request.
- Support team notified via dashboard when deletion is pending.
Troubleshooting
- No confirmation email? Check spam or resend request after 24 hours.
- Link expired? Start a new request—old links are invalid for security.
- Need records for tax/compliance? Request a data export before initiating deletion.
- Enterprise account? Contact support; master admins must approve deletion.
