Customize Your FN Pulse Experience
The Profile Settings dashboard lets you update personal information, control communication preferences, and adjust notification settings in one place.
Accessing Profile Settings
- Log in to your account.
- Click your avatar (top-right) → "Profile".
- Navigate using the left-hand tabs (desktop) or dropdown menu (mobile).
Profile Tab
- Display Name: Shown on reviews and community posts.
- Bio & Experience Level: Helps other traders contextualize your comments.
- Profile Photo: Upload JPG/PNG up to 5 MB (optional).
Privacy Note
Display name and bio are public. Email address remains private.
Preferences Tab
- Default Language: Choose preferred interface language (English, Spanish, German, etc.).
- Default Region: Tailors broker lists to your jurisdiction.
- Tool Units: Pick default pip/lot units for calculators (lots vs units).
- Dark Mode Toggle: Enable/disable dark theme globally.
Notifications Tab
- Email Alerts: Broker updates, newsletter, product announcements.
- In-App Alerts: Broker rating changes, tool updates, community replies.
- Push Notifications (mobile): Enable via mobile app prompt.
Recommendation: Enable "Broker Updates" if you follow specific brokers.
Security Tab (Quick Access)
- Change password.
- Enable Two-Factor Authentication.
- Review logged-in devices (revoke any you don't recognize).
- Download your data export (GDPR compliance).
Troubleshooting
- Avatar upload failing? Ensure file under 5 MB and square aspect ratio.
- Preferences not saving? Check browser extensions or try incognito mode.
- Unexpected emails? Review notification settings—disable categories you don't need.
